The Prefects Investiture Ceremony 2019 of Loyola College Bopitiya will be held on 03rd of May,2019 at the school main hall. Senior Prefects will be chosen at the event. The Prefects Investiture Ceremony to install all our prefects into their roles for the year 2019 to 2020.
The prefects were specially selected by teachers based on their leadership qualities, work responsibility and compassion towards their peers.
A leader according to its simplest definition is “Someone who has the clarity to know the right things to do, the confidence to know when he’s wrong and the courage to do the right things even when they are hard….”
Leadership also an art.
“Leadership is the art of influencing and directing people in such a way that will win their obedience, confidence, respect and loyal co-operation in achieving common objectives”
Prefects are expected to establish and maintain the highest standards of behavior, attitude and appearance at all times and provide a positive role model for other pupils. They are appointed each year to undertake various roles and responsibilities around the school.
Prefects will exhibit the personal qualities including self – discipline, leadership skills, communication skills, politeness, helpfulness, respect and care for others. They are reliable and responsible members of the school’s community.
